Hi!

My name is Sami Tamulonis, and I am currently freelancing as both a scenic artist and a scenic designer! It is a dream of mine to create worlds in which beautiful stories can thrive, whether that be foundationally or within the finishing touches. 

 

My most recent and upcoming work is designing for Columbus Children's Theater (Next To Normal, Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and at the Cumberland County Playhouse (Wizard of Oz, Rudolph). I have also been working at the Cumberland County Playhouse since 2022 as a scenic artist. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where I obtained my BFA in Stage Design, Props, and Scenic Art. After discovering my love for theater (dating all the way back to high school) I am happy to be pursuing a career in a field that I am truly passionate about. I can not wait to see where this journey takes me!
